Invited last September by the Faculty of Physical Education, University of Rzeszow (Poland), Master Maroteaux participated during three days to various works, with its foreign counterparts. More than 30 martial arts teachers, all for less PhDs or aggregation, had moved for the occasion (USA, China, Italy, Thailand, Philippines, Japan, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria, Korea, Holland, Russia, Ukraine, Croatia, Belgium, Iran, Serbia, etc.).
He knew how to present his aiki-jujutsu by demonstrating the importance of the stability of the moving body through perfect postures.
His colleagues were astonished by such energy capacity and power he gave off easily, thanks to this stability, during his demonstrations and classes.
Master Maroteaux committed to produce for next year, a comprehensive treatise, as a thesis, on this issue on which he is a specialist for thirty years. Thesis he intends to see validated by the University of Rzeszow.
The dean of the Faculty, M. Kazimierz Obodynki has strongly encouraged master Maroteaux as well as one of his former student, Dr. Wojciech Cyrnarski.
Following the congress, Master Maroteaux has been appointed to the Board of the I.M.A.C.S.S.S.(International Martial Arts & Combat Sports Scientific Society), as part of the University of Rzeszow.
A seminar which was interspersed with cultural visits, in a good atmosphere between scholars experts, interested in history, philosophy, sciences and culture. It was the second congress of this type in Eastern countries. It will be renewed in two years.
